Resident Requirements

Residents of Father Dempsey’s Charities must be responsible, mature gentlemen who can live independently in a setting where daily cooperative social interaction is expected.  

Admission Criteria

A social service assessment in the form of a face to face interview is conducted by the staff.  The Executive Director approves each prospective resident’s housing application prior to admission.  Potential residents are required to obtain a St. Louis City/County Arrest/Conviction Information report.  Generally residents are expected to be employed or receive a steady income. Their primary goal is to acquire their own apartment.  Therefore, allowing those who may be homeless or on the verge of homelessness an opportunity for residency at Father Dempsey’s Charities.

Rental Rates

$350 - $425 per month, depending on the size room you receive
Daily meal included in rent
Laundry facilities available @ $5.00 for 3 hours
