Church Items
Church items are "restricted use only.” this means that they are reserved for liturgical use by parishes, religious orders or approved oratories, not for home or personal use. Items acquired for another diocese will require a written request from the diocese ordinary. The following items (Director Approval and Pastor Approval) are Church Items.
Director Approval
These items require written request to the Director of the Office of Sacred Worship and written approval from the Director of the Office of Sacred Worship:
Altar, Altar Stone, Crozier, Icon, Miter, Relic, Stain Glass, Tabernacle
Pastor Approval
These items require written approval from the director of the parish or other legitimate catholic institution. requested items that are moving outside the Archdiocese require director's approval:
Altar Rail, Ambo, Baptism Font, Crucifix–Large, Pew, Pulpit , Reliquary, Sanctuary, Sconce, Unction, Vestment Rack, Vestment Table
Individual Items
Individual items are separated into two categories—clergy items and laity items, for use by those groups only.
Clergy Items
These items are restricted to persons that have been ordained to holy orders. With permission from the director of the office of sacred worship seminarians studying for the priesthood maybe authorized. If a lay person is locating and claiming items on behalf of a parish or other legitimate Catholic institution, we request a letter from the leadership of that organization:

Laity Items
These items are those items that have been donated that are more for Personal use, PSR and School Religion programs, office use, and in some cases the home. Many of these items are not photographed, but if you call the reclamation center the coordinators are able to let you know what we might have.
